Precious Children

For about three months now I've been volunteering at the Colorado Pregnancy Center. Basically I watch the children of the women who work there. It's so much fun being around kids, especially when you see them twice a week, because you start bonding with them and getting to know their individuality. Up until recently I and another lady named Mary, were watching 5 kids, 2 babies below a year old, a 1,2 and 3 year old, now it's only 1 baby, 1 &3 year olds. They are so precious and I want to share some of the fun we've had with you.

Baby Shower

My aunt is having a baby! A new baby is always exciting, but this is my Aunt Liz's first baby, and she is the last of my daddy's siblings ( and his only sister). The baby is going to be a girl, and her name is going to be Bojenna Rose (not sure on the spelling. My grandma is excited about the new baby girl because her youngest granddaughter is my sister, who is 16, after that it's 5 grandsons. Anyway, the shower was on Saturday. Basketball

Last night was the first basketball game I've ever gone too, and I tell you what, I screamed and cheered and yelled. It was fun, but there were things I was uncomfortable with, and basketball isn't a very intense and exciting game. There were times it was exciting, but not like hockey or football. Now those are the greatest sports, full contact, lots of adrenaline, and intensity.
